NoPop Browser for iPhone and iPad

Last updated: October 1, 2026

NoPop Browser does not send your browsing history to ToanKhonTech. The app has no account requirement, advertising trackers, or analytics SDKs.

About this policy

NoPop Browser is a web browser for iPhone and iPad developed by ToanKhonTech. This policy explains how the app handles information and the choices available to you. It covers NoPop Browser itself; websites and services you use in the browser have their own privacy policies.

Every browser feature works without creating an account.

Data stored on your device

NoPop Browser stores your bookmarks, browsing history, open tabs and tab groups, and preferences on your device. Website cookies, cache, and other website storage are managed by WebKit in the app's storage on your device. NoPop Browser does not offer its own cloud sync; device backups follow your iOS backup settings.

Save History is on by default and keeps up to 1,000 entries, removing the oldest first. Turning Save History off stops recording and deletes the history already saved.

Open tabs are saved so they can be restored when the app relaunches. If you turn on Clear Tabs on Exit, NoPop Browser stops saving your tabs and starts with fresh tabs after a relaunch. History, cookies, and website data are managed separately.

Address bar suggestions come from the history saved on your device. NoPop Browser reads the clipboard only when you choose Paste and Go. The Home Screen widget only opens the app and shows no browsing data. The Open URL in NoPop action in Shortcuts passes the address you provide to the app.

NoPop Browser does not have a private browsing mode. Use Save History, Clear Tabs on Exit, and the deletion controls below to limit what stays on your device.

Websites, searches, and network requests

Browsing connects your device to websites and the resources they load. These services receive information needed to handle requests, such as your IP address, requested address, and applicable cookies. Information you submit to a website is sent to that website.

Searches you type in the address bar are sent to your selected search engine: Google by default, or DuckDuckGo, Bing, or Yahoo if you choose one in Settings. To show website icons, NoPop Browser requests them directly from the website you are visiting, not through a third-party icon service. Those websites and providers may collect information under their own policies. NoPop Browser does not proxy this traffic through a ToanKhonTech server or upload your browsing history to us.

Ad and pop-up blocking uses rules bundled with the app and runs on your device. Results vary by website, and blocking does not prevent every form of tracking or hide your IP address. Reading Mode prepares articles on your device from the page you are viewing.

Importing browser data

Settings → Your Data → Import Browser Data can import a file you choose in Files: a Safari export ZIP (bookmarks, Reading List, and history), a bookmarks HTML file exported from Safari or Chrome, or a Safari history JSON file. NoPop Browser reads the file on your device, shows what it found, and saves only the categories you select. It does not upload the file or open the imported links. History is imported only when Save History is on.

Password files inside an export are skipped without being read. NoPop Browser does not keep its own password store; sign-in suggestions on websites come from the password provider you choose in iOS, such as Apple Passwords. The original export file stays in Files until you delete it.

Deleting your data

Settings → Your Data → Clear All Browsing Data deletes all NoPop Browser bookmarks and history, including imported items; closes all tabs and tab groups; removes cookies, website data, and caches; cancels downloads and removes their temporary files; and clears cached website icons. Clearing cookies signs you out of websites. App preferences are kept. You confirm before anything is deleted, and the deletion cannot be undone.

Settings → Privacy & Data also lets you clear history, clear all website data, or choose which of browsing history, cookies and site data, and cached images and files to clear. You can delete individual bookmarks and history entries from their lists. Deleting the app removes its data from your device.

Clearing data in NoPop Browser does not erase information held by websites, search engines, your password provider, files you saved outside the app, or device backups, and it does not guarantee forensic erasure.

Downloads

When a website offers a file, NoPop Browser saves it to a temporary folder inside the app and opens the share sheet, where you can save it to Files or send it to another app. NoPop Browser does not upload downloaded files. Files you save outside the app stay there until you delete them.

Website permissions

Websites may ask to use your camera, microphone, or location for features you choose, such as calls, uploads, or maps. These requests need your permission, and you can turn off the app's access at any time in iOS Settings. Information you share with a website is handled by that website.

Optional tips

Optional one-time tips are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. NoPop Browser receives the StoreKit product and transaction information needed to verify and complete a tip, and keeps a record of completed tips on your device. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple provides us with sales reports under its own policies. Tips do not unlock features.

To decide when to show an occasional support prompt, NoPop Browser keeps a count of app sessions and a few dates on your device. They are not sent anywhere.

Diagnostics

NoPop Browser does not include a developer-operated analytics or crash-report upload service. If Apple's MetricKit framework delivers performance or crash diagnostics to the app, NoPop Browser keeps the 30 most recent reports in its own storage on your device and does not send them to us.

If you choose to share analytics with app developers in iOS settings, Apple may provide us with crash reports and aggregated usage statistics under Apple's policies.

Contact and support

For privacy questions or requests, email support@toankhontech.com. The contact links in the app prepare an email draft that includes the app version and the screen you wrote from; no browsing data is attached, and you can edit the draft before sending. If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include and use it to respond to your request. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or sensitive browsing information.

We cannot remotely view or delete browsing data stored only on your device. Use the app's controls described above to manage that data.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy and its date when NoPop Browser's data practices change. A summary is available in the app under Settings → Privacy Policy.
